The area of Laguna, California is very much affected and influenced by the City of Sacramento, California. Housing rental options, like large, gated apartment complexes, with pools, gyms, etc., or single family homes are readily available to potential renters, or for weekend or vacation enjoyment.
With the many waterways, lakes, the bay, the delta, and the miles and miles of natural hiking trails and biking trails, located nearby and in the nearby mountains, makes this an outdoorsman paradise.
There is year around fishing and boating, skiing, house boating, golfing, hiking, bike or horseback riding, and other sporting options in modern and safe parks for picnicking, tennis, swimming or just relaxing. The weather in the Sacramento Valley is moderate all year long and the active residents of the area like to boast of their Mediterranean Climate as they run or ride off into the country.
The area is only a couple of hours trip by car to the San Francisco Bay, or to the resorts of the Sierra Nevada. Trains, busses, freeways, modern airports are all available and easy to access.
Employment opportunities in the area are abundant and are available in the City of Sacramento area, with many residents employed in the Bay area, City of Modesto, City of Stockton, and other large cities in the Valley.
